Oolong Tea

Alishan High Mountain Oolong Tasting notes: Wild orchid, spring vegetables with comforting milky undertones. Satisfyingly broth-like with refreshing light finish. Ali Shan is one of the most popular and reasonably priced of the High Mountain Oolong teas. Grown on the slopes of the famous tea growing region of Ali Shan mountain in Central Taiwan, it is Taiwan’s top exported High Mountain Oolong tea.

Anxi Zheng Wei Tie Guan Yin Tasting notes: Creamy and zesty spinach, honeysuckle, sea air, with a satisfying warm slate and stone fruit finish. A fantastic morning tea.

Organic Four Seasons High Mountain Oolong Tasting notes: Peaches, apricots, papaya, sweet cream, honey, gardenia and spinach. Silky soft texture with mild mineral finish. Works well as a cold summer tea. A unique premium grade Four Season Oolong. Unlike most Taiwan origin Four Seasons teas that are grown in lower elevation tea gardens, this High Mountain Four Seasons tea is grown at an elevation of 1850m (6,070ft). The certified Organic tea garden is situated along the Western border of Guangxi, near Yunnan. The tea garden and processing is excellently managed by an ex-Taiwanese tea grower and tea maker. The tea is a lightly oxidized fresh oolong with a light/medium roast.

Dong Ding High Mountain Tasting notes: Clean & light organic oolong; roast chestnuts, white pepper, bitter melon and dense floral notes. Smooth and oily mouthfeel with a light roast bite. This is an outstanding Dong Ding Oolong! Unlike most Taiwan origin Dong Dings that are grown in lower elevation tea gardens, this High Mountain Dong Ding  tea is grown at an elevation of 1850m (6,070ft). The certified Organic tea garden is situated along the Western border of Guangxi, near Yunnan.

Light Roasted Qi Lan Wuyi Yancha Tasting notes:  Soft creamy almond and orchid notes over honey mineral sweetness; emerging stone fruit and light baked grains. Cool and lingering finish. A lightly roasted rock oolong in order to preserve the cultivar’s natural almond-tinged aroma. It has a naturally sweet rounded texture with almost no astringency.

Charcoal Roasted Wuyi Yancha Tasting notes: A medium roasted rock oolong with strong orchid notes and a warm toffee woodiness. Reminiscent of bush honey and butter slathered on homemade rye toast. Produced in the rocky terroir of Wuyi, North-Eastern Fujian, this Qilan is slightly more roasted than our other Qilan (Mist Orchid) in order to preserve the cultivar’s natural almond-tinged perfume, warm spices, sweet minerality, and thick, smooth mouthfeel.

Wen Shan Bao Zhong Oolong Tasting notes: Buttery, garden herbs, hint of nuts, with a sweet floral aroma. This is a lightly oxidized and roasted oolong that approaches a green tea but with sweeter flavour and thicker texture.
